Lloyd E. Lewis, Jr. was a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives. A native of Dayton, Lewis served as a a former assistant city manager for Dayton and as a member of the city plan board. He also once was a general manager for Rike's downtown, and served as DP&L's assistant vice president for community relations, recruiting and customer relations.[1]
In 1994, Lewis ran and won a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives which was formerly held by members of the McLin family for almost thirty years. He won reelection in 1996 to a second term. In 1997, he opted to run for a seat on the Dayton City Commission, and won. As a result, he was required to resign his House seat, and served on the Commission from 1998-2001. He died on April 4, 2001.[2]
